Favorite/least favorite accents.

Since we are a global community... I am curious what accents people love or hate?

I was in Eastern Canada once, and I guess I'd never heard a French accent in real life, just in movies a couple times where maybe it's exaggerated perhaps? Was in this coffee shop and the waitress spoke English with the most amazing accent I'd ever heard. It was like beautiful music. She wasn't exactly a beauty queen but I almost fell in love because of her voice.

It's funny that Cajun came from French folks. I find Cajun unpleasant to listen to.

My favorite though is the Jewish accent. It's just made for comedy. Try an experiment: imagine a bunch of professionals like doctors or businessmen or politicians having a meeting discussing some serious subject. But they all sound like Jackie Mason. Admit it, no matter how serious the subject matter, you'd be laughing.

I don't have many accents I hate, I guess some variations of my own, aka the California/ Pacific dialect/accent can sound bad, like some Valley girls with extreme "up talking" where you inflect where it sounds like you are asking a question when you are not.

I love a lot of foreign accents from various parts of western to eastern Europe, Canada, some African accents sound cool too.
