When watching the very first episode, within the first few minutes when the guy is sucked into the jet engine! AHHHH!!!!

That scene made me start my first thread here. I didn't know if I could take this show!

Michael/Ana Lucia/Libby was a huge jump/jaw dropping scene for me

I spend much of my time gasping and pointing in disbelief, the mark of excellent writers imo

Between the gunshots and my exclamations, my poor dog can't be in the room with Lost anymore!

He starts to tremble when he hears the music or the surf sounds. Poor guy!:(

Artz blowing up and Micheal shooting Anna Lucia and Libby.

Oh man. That espisode actually made you think she was gonna makeit, too!!! First they make you jump and scream. Then your cheering for her to live, and finally your crying your eyes out for poor Hurley.

Any predictions on how Hurley is gonna handle everything. I mean, there wasn't much time for him to have a reaction last season.

AAahhh!!! It starts next week!!! YES!!!!

Definetly when Michael shot Ana & Libby. I literally sat their with my jaw opened for like 5 minutes afterwards too. I NEVER saw it coming. I really try to stay away from the spoilers and for that moment, I was glad that I did.

Arzt blowing up was another

About Hurley and how he'll handle it...well, it certainly does carry on his "extremely bad things happen to me" mentality. And I mean, they DO keep happening to him.

But, being the eternal optimist that I am, perhaps he'll dig way down deep, in his good heart, and let his inner strength burst forth! Perhaps he'll step up and even do some leadership type stuff, who knows? He'll find his inner hero!

And yeah, I did think Libby just might make it...but no! She almost got the words out about Michael too. Bah!

But at least Michael came clean at the end and told the truth that he was the one who shot them.

Locke being in the wheelchair. Did not see it coming and that was the moment I was hooked no matter what.
Agreed, my favorite scene. Close second was the light coming on when John was pounding on the Hatch.

Why oh why didn't I remember this one?

And I'm the one who is always waiting to see the back story of how he ended up in that wheel chair.

In relation to this...it was shocking when I found out that the woman he was spending time with was named "Helen".

Remember that scene when he was sitting on his bed, talking on the phone? That scene is SO SAD.

Agreed backatcha. At that point I still thought there was something mysterious going on with the Island that was focused through the hatch*** and the light appearing suddenly as John reached his moment of deepest dispair was just jaw dropping. Now that I know it was just Desmond wondering who or what was banging on his hatch lid, it's less so story wise, but still so in terms of the story revelation.

And I just had another thought... John as somehow able to excevate the entire top of the Station, but his digging never alerted Desmond until the particular moment where he was banging on the Hatch over Boone's death?

*** I'm giving my ceveat 3 asterisks since there clearly still is something mysterious going on with the Island focused on the hatch, but not like I thought.
