CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've been working hard at just being still. It's hard ... my mind never quits. It's caused a great deal of problems in my life from sleep disorders to you name it. That picture had the same affect on me. God bless, stormdancer!

That's what I thought ... it kind of portrays that still we've been working on
... ironically, I was out whitetail hunting this morning ... saw one spike ... peaceful out there, too. I was sitting in my blind at daylight ... the squirrels were just going off! There is a downfall below my blind (they love that) and I could hear snapping and crackling but never saw them. Sometimes I go there out of hunting season just to watch the deer. It's cool in my blind because they will come and stand two feet from me and not know I'm there. Then it's spooky ... you're afraid of spooking them and having them accidentally jump on you. anyway ...
