You dont understand, in Baldurs gate 2 there is no higher level than 40, and this is using 2nd edition Ad&D rules and if you consider that using 3rd edition AD&D rules the the highest practical level is 30 (depending on you DM), and that level 20 is considered pretty much the highest a human can theoretically be, you can begin to understand level 40, you may as well just call me god... I have armour you can never hope to penitrate with either weapons or magic. My Armour class is -13 (technically impossible to reach) which means that using a 1d20 role you would have to get a 20, or critical to even hit me. Using the spell protection from magical weapons your attack would do no damage anyway. My magical protection comes from the cloak of Mirroring, which basically reflects all magical damage, with the exception of area of effect spells. Considering that my characted is 70% magicaly resistant, I seriously doubt that they will be a problem. However just in case you decide to use some insanley powerful spell such as "wail of the banshee", I have I very high saving throw against death.
In short I am invincible to all magic, I simply cant be hurt, your spells are usless against me. You'll just have to try and beat me in a fight, and considering I have 310 hp (vertually unheard) and have a thaco of -17 (the weakest aspect of my character, bust as any BG player, still insanley good) and a armour class of 13, I believe that ods are, your death is assured. If necessary I will be forced to use my extensive and insanley powerful mage (npc), to cast spells such as Time stop, Comet, Dragon breath, Wail of the banshee, Imprisonment to finally kill you off if I get bored of kicking you to an early grave.
Thats if my initial plan fails, and considering that the only creature to ever survive such attacks is Demigorgan prince of Demons (most powerful creature in the whole game, by a very significant margine, (he's worth 100,000 xp, the next highest is around 64,000), who is also the only creature my character can not kill single handidly in the whole game.
Ohh and summoned creatures do not last even a few seconds in fights of this epic scale, but if needs be to combat your "Knights of the Round", I would simply summon a few high level demons (about 20,000 xp worth if I remember rightly) using the gate spell, more than a match for anything you dare summon I think.
However if all else fails and by some mirical I actually find your character a challenge to kill then I would use my whole party to kill you... Basically my character times 5...
