Favorite Devotion

Hey guys... I thought it would be interesting to see what everybody's favorite devotion is.

The Rosary, although I am wanting to start first Fridays to the Sacred Heart!

I'm big on the Divine Mercy, but I would like to focus some more of my attention on the others!

My entire parish is very big on Divine Mercy. We pray it after each Mass.

Well, I pray the Rosary and DMC every day, but my favorite is the Stations. I love walking with Him, though it breaks my heart to do it. I pray the Stations every Friday.

For the purpose of this poll, is "Adoration" considered to be THE devotion to the "Holy Eucharist"? And ONLY ONE favorite? Like the potato chip commercial "you can't have just one"--Our Lady, the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, First Fridays are also "favorites". IMO that's what's so nice about Catholicism--there are many available devotions.

I picked other, since my favourite devotion is the Divine Office (as lay people, it isn't liturgy, which requires at least a deacon.)

I love the prayer said before each Hour, which could easily be used for any other devotion:

Aperi, Dómine, os meum ad benedicéndum nomen sanctum tuum: munda quoque cor meum ab ómnibus vanis, pervérsis et aliénis cogitatiónibus; intelléctum illúmina, afféctum inflámma, ut digne, atténte ac devóte hoc Offícium [has preces] recitáre váleam, et exaudíri mérear ante conspéctum divínæ Majestátis tuæ. Per Christum Dóminum nostrum. Amen.

Dómine, in unióne illíus divínæ intentiónis, qua ipse in terris laudes Deo persolvísti, has tibi Horas (vel hanc tibi Horam vel has tibi preces) persólvo

I am praying the rosary nearly daily, but my favorite is still the Holy Eucharist... I seem to have the most concentrative prayers then.

I selected the EUcharist- as it is the height and summit of our Faith!

I love the Mass and ADoration. I also pray the ROsary and DMC and do 1st Fridays and First Saturdays . I also just started praying the Little Office of Mary everyday-- it is a bit more doable for me than the Divine Office- but still mirrors the same format so as to be in union with the prayer of the Church.

I don't know what the 'Eucharist' refers to in this poll , is it meant to refer to Adoration ?

I see the Eucharist as my staple diet..i can't live without it

I picked the chaplet of Divine Mercy. There's just something about it, that makes me feel... I don't really know. I guess the Holy Rosary would be my second favorite.
