Mephster, wow! You're the first person I know who knows "black tape for a blue girl." I have the rope, and used to have the first pain to linger. Do you like lycia, love lies crushing, love spirals downwards, or soul whiriling somewhere?---They're under the same label.

Lotar,
I like stuff like Chemical Brothers, (they're actually supposed to be coming to L.A. in Oct.), Sandra Collins, (I saw her in Vegas), Timo Mass, (also saw him in Vegas)---they're both dj's. Moby and Paul Oakenfold are good, too. I also like "down tempo" stuff like, Zero 7 and Portishead. There is so much good music out there. I'm still working on building up my electronica cd collection. Oh, I live in Riverside too. Graduated from Ramona. Used to go to Harvest, too. You may not believe it, but it used to be a little itty bitty Calvary Chapel Church.

1. I listened to Radiohead. They're OK, but hardly anything to write home about. Alright, admittedly I've only heard one song, Paranoid Android, but I was told that was their best song, so ...

2. I'm addicted to U2. Quite literally. While on holiday for the last six days, I went three days without U2, and it was strange. No, don't laugh, I'm quite serious.

3. I am broadening my tastes. I like other bands, particularly Jimmy Eat World and Linkin Park, but I mainly talk about U2 because I think U2 is far and away better ... and I know a great deal more about U2 than any other band.

I'd like to see Timo Mass some day, I have a few of his cds. Have you listened at all to Deep Dish? They're pretty good. Everybody listens to Moby and Oakey ;) I never really got into Zero 7, just a little too hip hop for my taste. Bent, Royksopp, and Maladay are good.

I went to Arlington. Class of '98 :)

My fave is Rush. They always will be I suppose.
Seen 'em 7 times.

I like techno and stuff but have no exposure to it.
I'll have to look into what you guys suggest cause I'd totally like to listen to mroe of it.
Give me an example of what you like, and I'll give you some suggestions. My collection's pretty big :)

I just wanted to chime in and say that U2 is so wonderful! (I saw them in concert in Las Vegas.) But is anyone here into electronica?----Techno, trance, jungle, ambient, or trip-hop music?
I'm into a lot of stuff, including Techno and jungle. I like house/progressive/hard house. Classical, jazz, easy listening. Christian hymns and P&W, Rock, heavy metal and New Age. I like Punk as well, as evidenced by my sound file.

I'm very much into Less than Jake and Nightwish at the moment. I am also listening to a lot of Blue Man Group lately.

I've seen U2 as well, on their elevation tour in dallas. It was great, when Bono sang Kite, it was as if me and him were the only ones in the room.
