CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Man, this is a hard choice. For movies, I guess GHOST IN THE SHELL narrowly beats out SPIRITED AWAY, GALAXY EXPRESS, and CASTLE OF CALIGOSTRO since GHOST has at its core a very profound meditation on what identity is.

I would have to say at the moment Yu Yu Hakusho the dubbed versions. I starte dout with DBZ and liked it very much so but now I started to get into Yu Yu Hakusho. I want to watch Kenshin but it doesn't come on, on Cartoon Network and thats where I watch all of my anime. I heard Kenshin was very good though.

I still have yet to get the Kare Kano DVD from my friend. Once I see those episodes, it will probably become my favorite anime currently. Since it's already my favorite manga.

YES you guys are my people. Full Metal Alchemist or Rurouni Kenshin. I also like Big O, Gun Grave (only seen the first 4 episodes), Inu Yasha, and Wolf's Rain.

Favorite anime?!?!?! How could I ever choose just one favorite?!
But yeah, I'd have to go with Wolf's Rain, Inyuasha, Trigun, Angel Sanctuary, FLCL, and a whole bunch of others!
There's also the old school anime of Flying House and Superbook, which just rock... to me anyways.
See what I mean? I can't just choose one! I haven't seen any anime movies really... what are some good ones in that area?
