CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey yeah, I just got a PM from Glorianna about this.
I was praying a lot about what was causing me to be attached with these girls I was talking about. Turns out that just talking about it was fueling the inferno. These message boards were strangely turning on the same kinds of addictivity that porn once did for me. Once I stopped the boards, the addictiveness subsided. I would have never thought!
I didn't mean to abandon you L4Him. I just need a break from internet chatting.

I've got to have some pretty intimate conversations with some of the gals lately, and I think its finally starting to sink in. No more judging girls or generalizing the female race to a blob of psychobabble! Love requires taking a person one at a time. It's something I've been learning the hard way.
Melissa, your words matter. They have echoed in my mind pretty fierce. The whole "humble confidence" thing is something I really needed to work on, so thanks for letting me in on it. Sometimes a little anger gets my mind a'turning. It's helped me see some of my lady friends who are in trouble and just need a shoulder to cry on rather than focusing on which relationship I can score next.

Some people do get angry and upset and it is always good to use a timing out period to cool off a bit and gather your thoughts and actions.
