  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

About a week ago, my father found out that his company would be letting go of over 40% of the workforce due to the economy, and he was worried whether he would still have a job or be let go, and of course the worst happened and he was let go. (He is still working till the end of January and then being paid half salary through the end of the year)

A week before he found out about his job loss he had an old co-worker of his contact him about a possible job opening at the company (diagnostic sales -->same as his previous job before the company he just got laid off at) and my dad sent in his resume, and is now in the final interview stages of this company!

Praise the Lord for how He works and blesses us even in times of struggle and uncertainty!
