DAY 1 PRAYING FOR THE GIFT OF DISCERNMENT / GODLY WISDOM - For God to reveal what is in darkness to light , reveal your enemies , ungodly beliefs
"How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken?"
Deuteronomy 18:21
...To understand or know something through the power of the Spirit. The gift of discernment is one of the gifts of the Spirit. It includes perceiving the true character of people and the source and meaning of spiritual manifestations . No matter how clear a situation and choice may seem, we need to hold it up to the Lord, and be willing to let go of our own preconceived notions.
Discernment characteristics:
Discernment is the warning of God that speaks to you, it is not your conscience
Ask yourself:
1. Is God speaking to you?
2. Do you have peace about it ? If you have an uneasiness in your spirit, that is God warning you (discernment)
3. Unexplanied anger, godly anger
4. Supernatural knowledge, you know things about people without knowing them.
5. Rare conformation- thinking something and something happening to confirm it.
How to have discernment
Ask for it 1 Corinthians 1-5, James 1:5
Listen for it and dont dismiss it Matthew 11:15
Wait- it doesn't always happen instantly, it is patient wait on God Isaiah 40
PRAYER for today: SPEAK IT LOUD!
Father God open our spiritual eyes and reveal to us the counterfeit , the false prophet , the mimicking spirit, the idol , the false doctrine , the controlling spirit , the proud heart , self denial , the darkness posing as light , the wolves amongst the sheep , Lord as you reveal these things us to us I pray for the wisdom of you spirit .
Lord help us to act responsibly and with wisdom to words of knowledge about another person and I pray that we react in complete submission to the holy spirit and are led by your spirit at all times.
Lord help us to remain prayful at all times , as we put the full armour of God, train our hands to war and our fingers to fight against evil assignment and weapon formed against us. Lord cover and protect us with the blood of Jesus , Lord help us to understand what it entails to take up our cross daily.
Lord Jesus help us to always love and forgive our enemies , praying for them too at all times. Lord remind us that we do not fight flesh , So Lord give us greater understanding of your glory and how we may glorify you by loving others and leading them out of darkness. Father deliver us form all Evil as we abide under the shadow of your wing. (psalm 91:1) Father God I pray that your will be done in every situation.
We bind every spirit of jezebel , we bind every lying, mind binding and controlling spirit trying to interfere with our relationship with you Lord . We do this in the authority and mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord we plead the blood of Jesus Christ over our homes , mind and hearts , churches , church leaders , ministers , places for worship and fellowship , we apply the blood of Jesus to all these territories and ask for the assistance of the angels in protecting them, in Jesus Name. We declare that our God is not a God of confusion ( 1 Corinthians 14 : 33) and we pray that all that remains in darkness will be exposed in your everlasting light. In Jesus precious name Amen xx

15 Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.
Then you will understand what is right and just and fair- every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, who leave the straight paths to walk in dark ways, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways.
But the Lord said to Samuel Dont judge by his appearance or height , for I have rejected him. The lord doesnt see things the way you see him. People judge by the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. ( 1 Samuel 16:7 )
What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil and dark is light and light is dark ! (Isaiah 5: 20)
When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom . Instead, we speak words that are given to us by the spirit using the spirits words to explain spiritual truths. But people who arent spiritual cant receive these words form Gods spirit. It all sounds foolish t them and they cant understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the spirit means. Those who are spiritual can evaluate all things, but they themselves cannot be evaluated by others -( 1 Corinthians 2:14 )
