  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

clothes hound?

  • yes, I buy clothes every week to keep up. I must be in style at every moment of my existance.

  • Yes, I notice and might buy something here and there.

  • Not really, I have a style all my own- people follow MY STYLE.

  • no, I just dress to look presentable but it's most often t-shirts and jeans.

I don't really pay much attention, I wear a lot of dresses and such but they're not exactly fashionable. It's too much effort to keep up with the world of fashion, the only difference it makes is how available the clothing I like happens to be in mainstream stores.

To be honest, I wish I did. I see stuff that I think is cute, but currently the styles do not look good on the body that I have.

I think I would pay more attention if I could shop more places and not have the shopping trip be hell.

My answer isn't up there. I notice, but I wear whatever I want and don't feel pressured to dress in the latest trends, but I'm not really a t-shirt and jeans type of person either.

This ^^^

I don't enjoy shopping for clothes at all. Things that I think look great on the shelf look awful when I try them on. I wish there were more cute things that looked good on me, but at the same time, like Crystal, I don't feel any pressure to dress in the latest trends. I wear whatever is comfortable. I'm often in jeans, but not really t-shirts.

10-11 years ago, I would have said yes, I do. But the second I hit college, I dressed in t-shirts, jeans, sweatshirts and cords. And I haven't changed since then lol I work with toddlers so there's no point in dressing up for them :p I do have nice clothes for going out, but we never go out lol

Yeah, I wear jeans whenever I leave the house (work, church, etc) and an assortment of tshirts and a few casual, non-tshirt tops. Shoes are always sneakers or casual sandals. Shopping WOULD be more fun if I had a teeny, tiny physique, but I think I'd still stick with tshirts and jeans lol.

I notice trends, but go with various tops and jeans. Maybe that would change if I didn't dislike the current trends (and I do) or if the fashion industry would truly design for all shapes/sizes (being quite short and not skinny makes clothes shopping challenging).

Hmm, I'm not sure if any of the selections fit what I'm like. I usually stick to the same clothes, and I have a style all of my own, but no one follows my style. :D I mostly only wear skirts and t-shirts ( edit. at home I will wear t-shirts but not usually in public).

I do, but I'm told I'm not supposed to as a Christian. So yeah. I mean, I still do... but that's what I'm told. Something to do with pride or vanity or some other such thing, I don't know. I can never understand religious-minded folks.

Well, if you let it take the place of God, sure it's bad.

If you just like looking nice and/or seeing what's fashionable, I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

I wear what I like. Much of it gets me strange looks and comments in public. The comments are a mix of a bit shocked or sarcastic usually. I guess people aren't used to a guy wearing clothing with Tinker Bell on it. :D

I've never really been fashionable at all. Never concerned with whether I was buying what was "in" or not. I buy what I like and wear what I feel like. It's usually jeans in cold weather and shorts in warm weather. My shirts will either be long-sleeve or T-shirts accordingly.
