Appearance: Fat at first glance, his bulk hides some rippling muscles. He looks jolly enough with the complete santa beard and plump belly, but he also has long, sleek hair (...). Not really someone you'd like to get into a fist fight with except for his lackadaisical manner.
Personality: Although he possesses an amazing presence (due partly to his size), Farley is a goofball. He has changed his name seventeen times in his life (including once for each of the five different ships he has been mate on) on whims, but his middle name "Doobey" has remained constant, so that is what he is generally known by. The man defines "extravert" but not "hyper". He enjoys fights (of any kind) because he tends to win them, though some might argue his opponents have an uncanny tendency to be drunk. His most marked characteristic are his creative interjections, one of his favorites being "Rocks in my gullet!"
Bio: The man has been a second-rate everything, from peddler to merchant to pirate to theif to nobleman. Doobey was born to an upperclass family but his lax attitude lead him nowhere but to wander away from family and jobs: he would be promoted to a high position (say first mate on a ship) for his natural capability and then immediately get kicked out of the profession for his inept work ethic.
How did he end up on the Dancing Hangman? One day he stumbled onto the ship whilst it docked at port. He lay sleeping in the provisions room when he awoke to the alarm of one of the ship's crew. The sailer attempted to disarm Doobey but was unable, not only for Doobey's superior (albeit rusty) skill but perhaps also for his infuriating taunts. Of course the captain came in and put the man in his place (though Doobey doesn't admit it: perhaps he doesn't know it), offering him stay on the ship as a low mate, at least until they dock next. Doobey accepts and pretty much stays for the food.
