TV presenter Jeremy Beadle has died after a short battle with pneumonia, his agent said.

His wife Sue and close friends were at his bedside.
The star, best known for the shows Beadle's About and You've Been Framed, leaves his wife, daughters Cassie and Bonnie, and step children Leo and Claire.

In a statement, Beadle's agent, Nick Canham of MPC entertainment, said: "Our heartfelt condolences go to his wife Sue, his two daughters, Cassie and Bonnie and his stepchildren Leo and Claire. He will be greatly missed."

As a stalwart of ITV for many years, Beadle regularly pulled in television audiences in excess of 15 million for Beadle's About and You've Been Framed.

Beadle, who was 59, was a significant fundraiser for Children with Leukaemia throughout his life and is estimated to have raised more than £100 million for charities of all description. He was awarded an MBE in 2001.

Beadle was diagnosed with cancer in 2005, but never allowed the condition to affect him. Last autumn, he released three new books, and prior to his illness he was working on a series of television formats.

Henry Kelly, Beadle's co-presenter on Eighties hidden camera show Game For A Laugh, said: "Jeremy and I were firm friends for nearly 30 years. I loved and admired him and I shall miss him desperately.

Not only was he a terrific colleague in our Game For A Laugh days and beyond, but he was a most wonderful friend to have and the most entertaining company you could possibly imagine.

"My thoughts are with Sue and Jeremy's family."

Game For A Laugh ran from 1981-1985 and also featured Matthew Kelly and Sarah Kennedy as co-hosts.

Honey, I'm sure all women wanna father &/or grandad figure who combines the many qualities I do, yes?​

& want him to open his heart to you about the deepest things, as well as the fun small-talk, so you know you can trust me to listen to your nagging fears, doubts, anxieties, etc & love you thru them all & talk over different ideas & feelings & crack jokes to cheer you up, hug & cuddle you for comfort​

My only daughter, lovely, laughing Laura Dawn, can't have been planning to hide in some remote rural area for this past 4.5 yrs & suddenly appear at my BIG 6-0 b'day​

She'll be - if still alive - permanently planning to earn her living writing & illustrating her own short stories, poems, TV & film scripts, etc​

Such 'splendid isolation' makes her very vulnerable: that' why I'm suing N Wales Police & Rhyl Social Services & Rhyl High ​

As my blog said 2/3 times, around & since her 10 Dec b'day - especially in the past 2 weeks or so - she may well be chained up & tortured in deep, dark, evil BDSM torture chambers, yes?​

The attractive slight turn in one of her big, baby-blue eyes & the unusual kinda sandy shade of hair are/were her most distinctive features of her 5'4" then slim/wiry body​

But a girl can change much from age 14 to 20..​

she may have 3/4 kids..​

have had plastic surgery..​

wigs..colored contacts etc​

So this will be in the ad I will now put, as part of my search & rescue mission to seek lost souls, who feel crushed in the devastating debris of such a fallen world, in a site presented as for finding mature friends but is, in fact, the kinda site I can't print here, so do see blog & PM prayers, OK?​

I'm doing what St Paul called laying his life on the line to save others - as did many in Hebrews 11​

What else can a 60-year-old dad do to find if his beloved only girl, whom all who ever saw us together said how much we look alike - "no mistaking father & daughter!"​
