  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

my aunt has had to put up with her ex-husband's harassment for 3 or 4 years now and it is tearing her apart. its like he brainwashed their 2 older kids into believeing his lies, they think what he says is gosple and what their mom says is a pack of lies. its like torture for her. please pray for them all.

May her spirit be re-newed that she will regain her confidence, and the position of credibility that God intended for her. May God soften her husband's heart that he may see the pain he causes her, and may He open the hearts of her children that they may discern the truth. Lord Jesus I thank you that nothing is too difficult for you. I pray for the Aunt to be healed of the effect of these hurting words that have no truth. That she regains confidence and knows peace. For her ex-husband to lay aside, every bitternes, every anger, any act of revenge that is the root of these lies . That these words come to nought and he knows the love of Jesus changing his heart & life.
For the sisters to recognise the truth and have a healthy, loving bond with her again.
Let peace reign in this whole situation. Thankyou Lord, Amen.
