CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I liked it when it first came out. Then I stopped liking it because it got really weird and I don't like the fact that they have Brian dating women. However, I've fallen in love with it since I saw the proctologist episode. I like American Dad better though.

Yah, lots of FG fans dig teh American Dad more. But it doesn't have teh Stewie, and no character in the history of characters has been better than that vitriolic little bundle.

I love it! I've got all the dvd seasons as well for those times when I need a fix and it isn't on tv.
I've never gotten into American Dad, however. I think I am more a fan of the random humor.

I love Family Guy! Actually last week, at least here in Texas, it wasn't on because of the premiere of that show "Drive"...
I like American Dad too, particularly the fact that the dad's boss is voiced by Patrick Stewart

I can't get into American Dad either. It's on after FG, so I'm in the mood for irreverent animation, but after 1/2 an episode I'm like, ah, time for bed.
Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park are the only comedies that make me laugh. I can't take regular sitcoms.
