  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Family Guy is amazing. It's the perfect combination of scathing satire and the absolutely pure random. I'm almost sorry that the 4th season isn't a huge hit right now, because I think some moments really are the best yet. (A.K.A. Ralph finally punching Alice on the Honeymooners, or the Tinman accidentally finding out he's gay.) It's fantastic to see something DIFFERENT on american television, even if the show's content may not be for everyone.

Sorry to hear that. You can always start watching again. :D I love the show. It's great. It's replacing Simpsons in my life cause the new episodes of Simpsons suck.

Same here. Simpsons definately need to get some more adequate material or else they're done for.

BTW, Family Guy is awesome!

Hey Justin! I know I don't know you, but I wanted to say that your post makes me proud. Our youth boys are big fans of the show, and I've heard about or seen a few episodes that I disagree with.

I am so glad I am not the only one. I love the show it is incredibly funny! I am having a problem with letting go of my old ways with T.V. and music. I am so proud that you stood up and said something. I feel you.
