False gospels do not require you to overcome sin

Jesus says He "never" "knew" those ones... not His children and are not, nor were ever His, etc...

This would probably be because they were either not telling or preaching the truth, or that they are not, or never were, of His Spirit in their hearts, etc...

It is not just about sin in general or about general sinners and their general sin(s) in general, etc...

That is a flat out lie, etc...

And it is deceiving, and not teaching nor preaching truth, etc...

Which is a big sin BTW, etc...

A lot of you on here, especially a lot of the ones on here who claim they don't have any sin, do that "practically all the time" BTW, and most of the time to condemn "sinners", etc, but, anyway, do that kind of sin "all of the time", but don't seem to ever see it, etc...

By their fruit (works) you will know them, etc...

Are they doing bad works and producing bad fruit, or good, etc...?

Is their news or their gospel good news or bad, etc...?

Is it, or are they, seeking to raise or upbuild or only judge and condemn, etc...?

What is in their hearts behind what they are doing, or the true work and/or works and/or true purposes (in their hearts) behind what they are doing...?

And while they are seeking to judge or condemn, are they completely free from that very same judgment and/or condemnation, etc...?

The wages of sin is death (physical death spiritual death). Yet theres more to that verse "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord". So what the Gal were doing/believing was a different Gospel. Through out my life I have come accros those that do not believe the bible Gen-Rev is for all. Some believe SOME letters the holy spirit wrote through Paul are not for all or not even of God. This leads to confusion when the writer leaves out this info. So its then easy to make your case by saying "that was for the Gal only".

John is describing the lives of two very different kinds of people in 1 John 1.

I walk in the light, which as verse 5 says is God.

There is a "cure" for that flesh and your love for it above your love of God.
Romans 6:3-6 tells us how to kill the old man and to be raised with Christ to walk in newness of life.
You don't have to walk in the flesh any more: you can now walk in the Spirit instead of the flesh.

He says specifically what the sin was in Matthew 7:21-23 and who the workers of inequity that He was referring to there were, and what they are or what they would be doing, etc, in Matthew 7:22, and more specifically referring to the those who were also called "false prophets" in Matthew 7:15-20 right before it, etc, who are inside "ravenous wolves", etc...

Look it was in general about those who come using His name and saying they were His, and claiming about things that were by Him, or were of Him, or were in His name, but were not, etc...

And in case you want me to repeat it, it was not referring to people who sin in general in that passage or in those verses, and you specifically said it was in post #232, so you were not handling the truth properly or in complete truth, or were caught in a sin...

Just man up and admit it OK...?

And don't try to deflect by trying to change the subject or the fact that you were just caught in a sin, and in one that I think God considers a pretty serious one also, not handling His Word of truth in complete true and total truth, etc...

I get selfish. I see cars, houses, boats, and other "toys" that I covet. Sometimes I eat like a pig when the food is good. Which is gluttony. I tell the officer that I haven't had anything to drink, at the ride check, when, in fact, I had a beer an hour ago... just to avoid the hassle when I know that I have no alcohol in my system... I have drove over the speed limit when I am a bit behind my schedule.

I am still Saved.. I am always in conversation with my savior and asking forgiveness.. Not because my salvation is at risk, but just to continue to admit my shortcomings in my effort to become more like Him.

That was all that was cited by Jesus.
Any sin would be counted in "iniquity".

It is a question of submission to God.

Even though it is a gross sin.

It is not talking about all sin and all sinners in that passage but a specific kind of sin and sinners, (of which you are being one of even right now), and you are very wrong and are sinning to say it does, end of story. And your only doing it in order to say you were not wrong or were not sinning when you clearly were and are right now, which is so very wrong on so many levels I do not even know where to begin, end of story.
