i wanted to buy it but im afraid of the changes it has suffer. i really love fallout 2 and this game looks like oblivion... what things can you tell me about it?
I say buy it. The ruins of DC are done so well that its haunting. I spent a good part of the game just running around and looking at the destruction. The atmosphere is defineatly there
Really? I just levelled up enough to get the bloody mess perk and I was SO happy!! Bring on the gore!First, the game is way too gory (to the point of being repulsive at times).

Edit: I am so ladylike it scares me at times
One question, if you get all the downloadable content on XBLA, can you level up beyond 20? If so, is there all new perks that you will want to get or will you still choose from the one's you haven't picked yet?
I started playing this again last night. You can tell how OCD I am with game because:
1) I pick up everything and store in in a locker at my house and will sell all the junk once I haveo 100 Barter.
2) I made sure I will have 100 skill points in everything but unarmed.
3) I have been really careful with the perks. For instance, I have the survival expert perk from Moria's wasteland survival guide and I made sure to get the Guru version of this perk with +6 Damage Resistance (it all depended on how I answered her questions).
4) I'm worried that I may have chosen some of the wrong perks since I'm almost level 20 and there's only 1 perk lest to choose. I hope I have already chosen the cyborg perk.
I guess that most people who played Fallout3 just went through the game rolling with the punches. I get so OCD with Fallout3 and Oblivion by trying to make the perfect character. It's insane. It's like back in the day when I played old rpgs I always made sure that I would level up a lot before moving on to the next sections. I would preserve items. I would search every nook and cranny for treasure chests so I wouldnt miss any. Maybe the reason why I'm OCD with video games is because 'I want to get the most out of the game' and that old boyscout motto 'be prepared'. If grinding weak enemies means be prepared then so be it.
I quit playing Oblivion but I hope Elder Scrolls V is 10 times better - that game has some serious potential up the wahoo.
Anyone else reading this thread OCD with their video games?

I guess I'm OCD in similar ways to you as regards finding stuff, I'm definitely a scavenger, and I'm very glad I took the perk that allows you to find more caps in lockers etc. I'm usually a power-armor and several big guns kind of player, and I have ridiculous amounts of ammo for about 5 of the big weapons through scavenging.
Can't say I've stored that much though, I tend to take ammo and what I need, although if I find something profitable I'll take it with me - radscorpion glands are probably the best example of that, if I'm travelling through an area full of giant radscorps I'll grab as many as I can, they're light but surprisingly valuable, and a good way of making spare cash.
One area in which I am VERY OCD is on fast travelling - which I never ever do. I think it breaks flow and destroys the point of having a huge open world in the first place. So yeah, the Vault 87 trek took me a few days of play to get to, what with fighting and exploring along the way. Getting back to DC from Raven Rock took me about a week.
