  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

OK here I go, I am a chistian, though do not preech, I hold my own religion by my side. I have fallen in love with a catholic gir l and we are both very happy. I am though going through a divorce, and this was not my own fault. The girl I am seeing, has to be the best thing that has ever happened to me. But religion on a *heavy* side is kind of new. I love this girl with all of my heart, but I am so confused to what to do?

My first question is how did you come to be dating someone and already fall in love when you are still married? How long have you been out of your marriage relationship? I don't think it's a good idea to jump from a failed marriage to another relationship without healing, especially since you say that the divorce is not your fault?

My next question is if you two are going to be compatible spiritually. Is she an active Catholic? Are you expecting her to leave the Catholic church? Even if she isn't active you might be suprised how loyal she may be to her church.
