Blinded by the light of fear
I've stayed dormant in my burrow
Watching the skies fade color ahead of me
I see painted portraits in the clouds
Tears in my eyes fall sweetly to the earth
Visions of longing to touch the warmth of the summer wind
The burden I carry is one that I fear is too heavy
Those I love see not of my joy, but only of my sorrow
Saying tomorrow is but another day
As I lay alone in the courts of my soul
I watch a lonely sunset reflected in my eyes
Each day that I have faultered
Fearing I have only failed
Yet the people that I neglected
Pull me through a day
The reason I survive is but to love
