I was just curious how many days your school gets out for fall break. My school only gets out for one day. Wished it was more.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We don't get any days off for fall break. We get like a week off in between fall and winter quarter though.

We get Thanksgiving (second Monday in October) off. That's the same day as Columbus Day in the states.

One day, next friday, for a long weekend. Then, we also get thanksgiving off, which is a month later.

We get Thurs and Fri. I don't usually have classes on Thurs anyway though. I'm sorta bummed, most of my friends are going home and I'm stuck on campus. I think there's only going to be a max of three people on my wing this weekend staying. Haha. Good thing I'm working, otherwise I'd go completely insane...or more insane than I already am.
We also get Thanksgiving off...Wed-Sun. I'm leaving Tuesday, have to miss my Latin class. Bummer.

Fall break here = "Vacances de la Toussaint" (All Saints Day, if i remember well?) and we get one week off. Then at christmas we have 2 weeks. So now officially i'm off until 31st october, but 1st november is a day off too (i know that's weird). So with my class we arranged with our teacher to have a day or two more
