I can't even begin to describe how AWESOME today was!
This past weekend, I had just started an internship at my church that costs $6,000. I have $0. I was worried, because I had to get at least some money or a plan ready to stay in the program. I prayed/fasted for ideas on Sunday, and got a few good ideas.
Monday was the day for me to go out and actually do them. I was nervous, considering I had never gone out of my way for God's will before. I went door to door looking for donations. No luck, but I wasn't discouraged. Today, I got up early, did devotionals, and did as much as he told me to do.
Later, I went out to play music for donations. Didn't work so well, BUT I got a free ticket to a Chicago concert (which was awesome!!). I talked to my parents, and they found out they're getting some extra money next month and are giving me $3,500 towards the program! Then, I had been looking to give guitar lessons for some money just to live on, but had had no luck so far. I get a call for someone offering $25/hour!! After that, I had gotten a few things to help out from my grandma!
Having a radical faith has never impacted me more. Just shows how God can/will reward his followers from time to time. I've never felt so blessed and thankful for his grace & mercy.
