  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Faithfullness is an attribute of heavenly romance that is extremely misunderstood. How can you be faithfull to someone before you even meet? Isn’t faithfulness a quality that becomes important once a relationship already exists?
Well, just like Norman Rockwell could have never expected to paint a timeless masterpiece if he had never taken an art lesson in his entire life, neither can you expect to master the art of faithfulness if you wait until the wedding bells chime to start practicing it.
Though only a few can be successfull at painting a timeless masterpiece on a canvas, we are all commanded by God to be successful in mastering the art of faithfulness. Faithfullness is a discipline that is refined and honed through years of practice. Over time it becomes a habit. In a sense, it is learning to love your future spouse through patiently waiting, consistently hoping, and living by the high standard to which you’ve been called. I like to picture faithfullness as an oak tree, which patiently endures the torrid winds and rains, only to become stronger and more solid as a result. It is strength learned through persevering; it is integrity gained through waiting. It is imperative to the “beauty_full side of love.” Being single is not a disease; it is a time to learn to be patient to your future spouse and growing strong as well as wiser.

Right on! It's hard sometimes staying pure - a real struggle, especially with all the instant temptation available online 24/7 - but faithfulness is a virtue that must be cultivated and developed over time not just for ourselves, but for those who do and will love us.

Psalm 37:3-4 Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on Hisfaithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Received this insight today, delight in the Lord and He will delight in you! :D

Lamentations 3:22-26 Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!" The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

God is faithfulllllllll to each of us, so that we be faithfulllllllll to those around us, bringing them even closer to Him!

Proverbs 3:3-4 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
