There are two faiths in the bible, but only one true faith. The true faith is the faith that comes by hearing, not hearing what is read or what you read, hearing you get when you have ears to hear. Spiritual hearing. The first faith is called the little faith and it is faith as a child. This is what Jesus was talking about when he said to his disciples , Oh ye of little faith, how long will I suffer you. Thats the faith you have when you believe in the flesh of the scriptures and all you see as it is written is the flesh. The teachings by the Spirit tell a different story and they are not seen or conceived by the carnal mind. The things of great faith, the faith needed to be saved is faith in the word not seen, the invisible word or unspoken word.
