GOD put this on a church sign for me to see:

"Faith is the refusal to panic"!!!

i am in a situation which makes me want to panic. i have given it to JESUS several times. (i keep taking it back and worrying about it; as soon as i am aware that i'm doing that i give it to JESUS again.) Whatever happens will be HIS will ... and since there isn't really anything i can do about it i am in the wonderful position of having to trust HIM.

Please pray that HIS will will indeed be done in this situation.

That sign reminds me of Apostle Peter when he took his eyes off of Jesus and started to panic and sink, after walking in the water.

Keep your eyes on Jesus and believe His will be done.

thats a good point. if we panic it only keeps us from seeing what we really need to see.

I too give my situations up to Jesus..

I picture my problems like helium balloons.. I see them going up.. up.. to the Lord..

And then there they are again.. and I wonder how that happened..

Then I looked at my wrist.. and my "balloons" - my problems - had strings attached.. and tied to my wrist.. I gave them up.. but then pulled them back down to me.. So I took my "spiritual" scissors and clipped those strings..

For me, it was a control issue.. silly me thought that I knew more than God did about my situation.. that I could handle it better..

God said - Silly Little Woman.. *smile*

Focus your eyes.. and your trust.. on Him..
