take time step back and take it in
feel the air upon your skin
as the twilight fades the moon will rise
controlling skies until the day.
watch it all go up in flames
as the light comes out and brings the day
as we begin to watch it phase
the sun comes and chases the moon away
like ants to a flame it all goes up in gray
and blue skies rise as time goes by
passing into another life
and we just fade away
