I heard that Facebook is in trouble, did anybody watch the news? I read the news online, it seems that Facebook may be shut down.

Looks like this is something that we're just going to have to watch to see how it pans out. If its true that Zuckerberg stole these ideas, then I'll be behind ConnectU 100%. The site itself actually looks better than facebook...it just doesn't have the same popularity.

I think it just goes to show that what's important isn't always your ability to make a good product...just your ability to market what you have.

wow, i (along with about half of the population at my school) has been addicted to facebook since the beginning of the semester...

but hey, i am going to have to check out the other one, the whole book sharing thing would be amazing, since the on campus book store is terribly over priced...

and if you all will excuse me, i must go plaster this news all over my friends' facebook walls

hmm...I predict something happening to fix this problem so that facebook won't disappear. Although it may involve paying...hmm...It doesn't matter to me anymore though as I just deactivated my facebook account (it was my new years resolution)

I heard about that a while back, I believe through i2Hub chats and posts. Now i2Hub is shut down so I haven't paid any attention to this saga. I don't use facebook though, just hi5.com... not a big deal for me.

during dead week, facebook is useful in finding exam times for those classes you hadn't attended or some time. thank you facebook for listing classes and people in those classes!

Personally, facebook isn't helpful to me. I once tried to find help about some classes that I missed, but nothing helpful has ever come out of it.lol. I guess Facebook is the same as Myspace, Friendster, etc.

i agree. i like facebook. i got to catch up with ppl i would have never kept in contact with (no contact info) i have never even heard of connectU before

i hope they dont shut it down. i like it.

This is terrible news!!!! LOL I use facebook alot. Our campus ministry uses it alot as well. hmmm.....dang I dont want to have to make a new profile some where else im to lazy lol.
