I looked on the first page and noticed that there was no Fable thread. Personally, this was my favorite game of 2004. I recently got a new X-Box so I have to restart my Fable game. This is fine with me because I loved the game. It seems to take place in my favorite era (the renaissance) and the whole atmostphere and gameplay is amazing. What is your opinion on the game?

wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked
Fable is an awesome game but I was dissapointed with it because I made the mistake of listening to the hype and let my expectations get way too high. I was expecting Morrowind with better graphics, features, controls, etc, etc. Needless to say, I don't listen to hype about games anymore.

I also like Fable, but it definitely wasn't all that I expected it to be either. The game could've been much longer. I'm already at the end and I'm delaying as much as possible because I don't want it to end already.

yeah. I wish it went longer as well. I got to the end and was like "this is the end?" it ends very abruptly.Redguard said:
