FABLE, whats your take on it?

i have been looking at this new game fable that is coming out in september i think. and was wondering what everyones expectations of it are. i was thinking of buying it, but im not sure and since i dont really play RPGs too much. if i could your opinions i would really appreciate it.

My brother really really wants it, he even pre ordered it but lost his ticket... Anyway, it looks pretty cool except for the magic, I don't like games that have magic in them.

did you ever play Star Wars KotOR or just any of the Star Wars games? they have magic in it. its just named differently.

Peter Molyneux never fails to disappoint, I am buying an X-Box when this game comes out.

I heard alot of the really cool stuff was taken out of it since it was taking too long to make. Should still be cool tho.

It's the reason I bought an XBox. It really looks great and I can't wait for the release. If you want a hint of what it will be like as far as the open-endedness, try Morrowind.

I'm really interested, there where some beta testers who did say it was pretty bad, others really liked it.

I'm not sure what to expect, but it does look like alot of fun.

I was talking to a guy at EB Games this afternoon about Fable and he was telling me about the demo disk they have with some gameplay videos and an interview with Molyneux. He said that they created many of the things in the game to randomly generate and through the beta there have been a lot of surprises crop up (not bugs) that the devs never expected. Molyneux told of watching a beta tester play an evil character who had so impressed the people of one town that he married the mayor's daughter. He then lured the mayor out to a secret meeting in the forest at night and killed him. He later confessed to his wife and when she flipped, he killed her and being the only heir to the family fortune....

Molyneux said this was totally unscripted and was a big surprise for him and the others. After all the things I've read and heard about it, I can't wait. lol
