I was going to have the moderator remove my post, because I was so embarassed about the mistake. But, after reading the following posts and your comments, I couldn't really do that anymore. I had to set the record straight.

When you originally posted this thread, you represented it as a game. Where people would say who they thought went together. I didn't realize that you intended your "game" to be an on-line dating service for the single people here to make real "romantic" connections. And I'm extremely embarassed that you would assume that because I misunderstood your representation of what this thread was (which at that point, had not yet been made clear) that I or any of the other married people here could possibly be the type of people who had that type of character.

I think You owe all of us married people an apology for misrepresenting the intention of this thread, and implying that we are not as honorable as you, in your post. Your post reads that it was meant to shame.

People know me here John. My honor is, and always has been above reproach. My marriage is stronger than oak. And even if I found a man here that I had enough in common with to form an attachment with, I wouldn't be so foolish as to take any chances of hurting my husband or my children!

I trust that if you're half the man you represent yourself to be, you will make this right.

No doubt, someone will say, "Aw, it's not a big deal...he didn't mean it" Why make such a big deal about it?" But, this is my honor John. And I don't take that lightly.

This thread did take a turn from it's original intent. The original one was just a game to joke around about who you would match up together. That never really got off the ground like it did inthe singles forum because everybody said it looked like fun but nobody actually put forth any suggestions for matchmaking.

Then we added the potential to secretly register your crushes with the chance to be notified if there was a mutual match. That's the part that took off and overshadowed the original game in the thread. We've had 4 mutual matches so far.

I apologize for misunderstanding your request to play. I thought it was a request to state that you had a crush on someone or wanted to pretend that you did. Obviously, you are just as opposed to that concept as I am.

So let it be clear that there was a misunderstanding and no married person has requested to state that they have a crush on someone or that they want to pretend to have a crush on someone.

As far as this being a "real" romantic matchmaking thread ... that's not the intention and would be extremely unlikely to work since we're spread all around the world. That's not to say that some people might not begin to talk to each other over this thread or any other and might not find romance. But the main intent is to have fun on the forum.

Hey all

So who is left that hasn't been matched?? I hate the idea of confusing a lady by haveing her have to make an un-needed choice, after all there are plenty of beautiful women here that are single. Also when we have placed a crush notice are we told who we have been matched with, or do we keep choseing till we get a match??
