  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The one I rode on ran me into a fence...ouch!! I bet that did hurt, break anything?

I had one who ran away with me on it. I was pulling on the reins like crazy; he stopped short of the barb-wired fence-It was a wild and scary ride!

I would still ride if I had a chance. But this was while I was growing up. Our family had horses and my sister was into 4-H. I never broke anything, but I did hurt my pride one time when I fell into a creek off the back of a jumping horse. LOL

We had a reall stuborn horse, one day I was rideing him and he took off. I had his head pulled all the wat back to the saddle and he was still running full steam ahead. I ended up having to twist his ear to get him to stop, but by that time he had run me down about 50' of barbwire. Thats OK though we came to an understanding right after I got off him and punched him right between the eyes, didn'e beleive you could make a horses eyes roll back up into his head, and do they have a hard head, my hand hurt for a week.

Yup, you got it. Did you send your crushes to JAKG? He's not around tonight as he's working at the shelter. Not sure if he'll be around later.
At the moment I am both working at the shelter and around CF for a short while! :)
