I'm not. I'm excited, but not nervous.

I have had my shower, took hubby to work, went to the grocery store quickly for milk and dog food...and have answered email..and now I am here. Whew. NOT bad for being up since 7! I will be getting the kids up here shortly and getting ready to go to church.

Girl, you are doing better than me this a.m.; I feel so punk, I really want to go back to bed....
But I did that LAST Sunday, durn it, and I really need to go today.
I know I will feel better once I get there; always do!

Yea, I have gotten lax, (or lazy) about getting to church after I worked late. But, I realized, I only sleep about 5 hours a night, anyway.....Just get up, and GO!!! So, I did!!

Hi, I'm new to the 40's forum:

We live near the niagara escarpment. (Part of that long stretch is niagara falls). Other parts are just like a huge long cliff and/or trails. After church and lunch today we went down an escarpment trail to a small trickling river and small falls (not niagara falls) with the kids. It was nice to have warmer weather today. There was a whole bunch of people there watching and documenting the hawk migration. But it was just nice to get out after a long dreary winter.

I'm one of those that falls asleep way too easy during church. Today I took my son to youth group and decide that I would definately fall asleep, with only 4 hours sleep last night, so I stayed in the car. He woke me up when he was done. I feel like I missed out.
Even with plenty of sleep I have trouble. I'm not sure why. I'm interested, but I get so relaxed just sitting. I don't know what I can do about it. I pray.

Thanks Theo. I will do. I'm likely going to wait until we get into our new place early this summer before checking it out. There's even a corner here at CF now that is for home churchers.

FJD, I'm so sorry to hear this. You have become a great friend to John and I. I know the frustrations that are CF and although I want to ask you to reconsider, just know that you will be missed. What are we going to do for a best man now??
