Jp, still some ripe tomatoes around. I could make a meal out of just them in one form or another. Sometimes I slice them, put them on a baking sheet, sprinkle on oregano, salt & pepper and some parmesan cheese and bake them for a few minutes :yum: that's a yummy one.
Since I'm at work and it's tonight, I'm actually looking for something even easier and faster! ;)

Boy, do I have a day today! :doh:

well...lemme start about last night: went to bed about 10:30, read til 11:00. Tossed and turned and drifted off to sleep......

Woke up about 12 am, tossed and turned some more (it was hot, despite two fans in my room), trying to get comfortable with my bad back and knees. Dozed off.....

Woke up about 1am...grumpy, groggy, and decided to go to my computer. Was on it for about 15 minutes, realizing it'll make my insomnia worse. Went back to my room, dug in boxes for a book I want to read. Read the book until 2:15, and drifted off to sleep....

Woke up about 3, but only to pee (oooh, that rhymes!) went back to bed, and FINALLY fell asleep....

Woke up about 6:45 am and realized I'll never make it to work which starts at 8. Called my boss to let him know I'm coming in late.

Came in to work about 10, got to work, drank 2 cups of coffee, and had a bowl of potato soup.

It wasn't until right after lunch that I got a surprise package from a dear friend. In it were two kinds of Asian teas: green tea and gohyah tea. And I had a can of macadamia nuts and a box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts. All that was from her trip to Hawaii last month. What a wonderful wonderful surprise. It sure made my day!

The gohyah tea is also called bittermelon tea, and it tastes quite mellow with a tiny trace of 'honey' in it. Very good, and it's been said to help a person to "sleep well" well tonight I'm drinking it as I type this post. :)

And would anyone believe that I NEVER EVER eaten macadamia nuts until today? OH MY...!! How did I miss this after all these years?! YUM! :yum: Heh...I'm saving the chocolate covered ones for my Pampered Chef demo that I'll be having at my new house this October.

well, that's the extent of my day, and I truly hoped that I'll sleep well tonight.
