Funny story about sign language (ok, I'm talking and I can't shut up!!). My best friend and I used to get seperated in Sunday school because we talked and giggled too much....soooooo... We learned the alphabet in sign language. Then we could still talk but not make noise.

I'm in good ol NY...I also wanted to learn sign language I worked with two hearing impaired women many moons ago I became friends with them and they tried to teach me as much as they could I can sitll say "I love you", " I understand" and "thank you" and have a little memory of the alphabet.
My former church used to have an area for people who could not hear and a signer stood in front of them for the whole mass even the songs were signed it was wonderful.
Maybe one day when I am not working 7 days a week and I'm old and tired and retired although I feel old and tired but I'm too manic to rest then I'll learn she said as she put one more item on her I'm going to do this oneday.

A guy today told me this one...he first asked me if I was married and then I said I had been but not now. He said he had been married 3 times. His first 2 wives died. I said...Oh, I'm sorry. He said the first one died from food poisoning from a poison mushroom. I said once again I was sorry. He said the second one died from a concussion...I murmured my apologies again. He said, yeah because she wouldn't eat the poison mushrooms
