The liberal reaction to democratic elections in both the case of Bush and then with even more rioting and criminal activity - - in response to Trump's victory is an example of a small extremist radical leftist group becoming more unhinged as the decades roll by.

Imagine what would have happened if Republicans had rioted in the streets - paid rent-a-mob organizations vandalizing American city streets, with all of Hollywood promoting demonization of Democrat presidents.

Pay attention closely to who is protesting. It's the same people/the children of the people who protested WTO in Seattle in the 90s. It's the same protestors from Black Lives Matter. It's the same SJW campus protestors. It's the same Socialists and Communists that it always is. It's also the Black Bloc anarchists (wannabes). These protests also center heavily around the college campuses, not only because they are started there but because that is also their target. These types of things give people of sense of belonging and it's very easy to get dragged into following the crowd. Reading what He gave us is not about stopping Him from something. Rather scripture continually points out that the reason we are told about future events is so that we will not be asleep and uninformed when time comes to act.

In Mark 1 Jesus and John the baptizer point back to the prophetic timeline of Daniel 9 saying 'the time is fulfilled' it was a fulfilled prophecy message. So also in Luke 24;27 Christ teaches a "fulfilled prophecy message' and since the Jews were blind to the prophetic timeline many of them missed their opportunity to join the Carpenter from Nazareth.

2 Thess 2:1-2 is all about not being mislead and not being uninformed about future events - and it fixes the problem by giving us 'details about future events'.

We know it was a Roman governor at the time of Christ that tried to kill Him at his birth. So this is Satan working through Rome in Revelation 12 and so also the case for the 1260 years of the dark ages in both Daniel 7 and Revelation 12.

Bible details matter.

Rev 18 calls the saints out of Babylon - but it is not a nation - it is a corrupt system of worship. America is not a theocracy nor a system of worship.

The true church is identified in Revelation 12

By contrast -- an apostate church system is Babylon... not a literal nation.
