  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yep, a pan would work fine. Or a double boiler, if you have one. And definitely freeze it before you try to get the wax out- it works like a charm! My Mom & sister & I freeze glass candle holders before we try to get the wax out too. ^_^ Out of curiosity, what are you planning to do with a huge chunk of wax?

I have just a bunch of little chunks and flakes of wax in a bowl and I want to combine all of that just to make storage easier and eventually once I get my hands on some wicks, Ill be able to recycle it and make new candles

I love making candles, but I've never had any chunks left over. Were the chunks part of scented candles or just decorative candles. Unless they were scented all in the same fragrance you might not want to melt it all in one pot or you may not like the results you get.
