Exposing false teachers...

So the question is this? Whose duty is it to expose false teachers or prophets? Or is that something that we should even concern ourselves with? This question is prompted by something I saw on the other forum, which seems to be generating some discussion.....

Is that something we are even dealing with? I mean the idea of prophets false or otherwise, and exposing false truths.....

Yes we should expose them; and that is what I'm doing right now

You expose them by proving they are wrong thru the bible. You have to make sure you have a sound biblical base for your argument. If the bible says they are wrong, then they are wrong.

For argument's sake, what if the part of the Bible you are using to say they are wrong, is wrong?
Wrong in the sense say looking at the text in Deut which tells parents to take their disobedient child to be stoned to death in order to keep evil from Israel.

We need to give eachother more credit. We should be able to tell right away. So to expose them, they expose themselves.

A bit of money for the cause. If you see an ad for Site Support just click on it and it will give instructions. They pop up all the time. That is how I did it. There might be a section on Site Support though -- I just don't know where.

I think its pretty simple. If someone is a false teacher, their teachings will be contrary to the bible.

Hence why the churches standards should be so high.

The whole bible, that is, taken literally.
