  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Jo. 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning.

It's no more difficult than that.

So... Binitarian?

How crass?!

That isn't the full picture though, is it? The Scriptures reveal God to be Tri-Personal not Bi-Personal? Like I said, if what you believe isn't the same as the God of the Bible then what you believe is definitely not the truth (Jn.14:6; 17:17)?

Jo. 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Jo. 17:17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

And your point is? You need to stop kicking against the pricks.

You can't make these scriptures say what you wish they said.

You're not making yourself clear here at all (and yet you are expecting me to understand the point I presume you're trying to make)?! It seems to me that either you are being deliberately obtuse or you lack the ability to communicate properly?!

My point is that if you are refusing to acknowledge the truth of the Tri-Personal Nature of God based as it is on the entire corpus of Scripture and not just a few isolated 'proof texts' then it is you rather than me who is in denial of the Truth?!

If we think of that fact that Gos is Love - Love is to love another person, not loving your self! If only the Father is God, it means that Father in eternity has loved him self. And then began to love another person when he created the Son.

I believe that God is the same in eternity. That he never has changed. And Gods love is that God love other persons. The Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit has loved each other in eternity - thats why God now can loving us and still be the same!

I say it again - My English is not that good, but I hope that you all whos reading this understand what im saying. You can also correcting me if I have spell in the wrong way!

God bless you all!

No. For love to exist there must be a lover and a beloved. Divine Love is not Narcissistic. The Bible reveals that YHWH is Tri-Personal, not Mono-Personal or even Bi-Personal. The Son is as much YHWH as is the Father and the Spirit and since YHWH is both Eternal and Immutable then that means that however God exists at any single point is how YHWH exists at all points for all Eternity.

I believe that God is the same in eternity. That he never has changed. And Gods love is that God love other persons. The Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit has loved each other in eternity - thats why God now can loving us and still be the same!

This contradicts your statement in the first paragraph that the Father created the Son?! If the Father has loved the Son from Eternity then He could not possibly have created the Son from within time (as you declared in the first paragraph)?

I say it again - My English is not that good, but I hope that you all whos reading this understand what im saying. You can also correcting me if I have spell in the wrong way!

Apart from your statement that the Father created the Son (a metaphysical impossibility) you are essentially correct.
