CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

... There's nothing better than a quiet summer's soft rain at night to lull you to sleep while your bedroom curtains slightly flutter from a warm breeze ...
... Or a thunderous pouring down rain during a summer's hot humid night ripping the heavens apart with jagged lightening flashing wildly as you sit on the porch watching God's handiwork with amazement ...
... Or a soft spring's rain thawing winter frozen earth, unleashing the scent of life reawakening in preparation to bloom ...
... Or a steady autumn day's rain bouncing off of scattered fallen leaves releasing the aroma of dank dirt to fill the air as the chill of winter is hinted of in it's cold raindrops ...
... And last but not least a winter morning sprinkling rain that gently drops, then floats down through the clouded sky to land softly on your lawn and tongue as snow flakes ...
... yes! I love rainy days.
Oh, and it's a play off my real name 'Lorraine' as well, but never was a nickname in real life, just on this message board here.

My name, though I made it simply from imagination, sort of means 'Strength of the Seas'.
'Mer' ~ French for 'Sea'.
'Lotte' ~ Italian for 'Battle'.
And... The 'U' is just there, to separate them. Merlotte would work, but... Still. I don't get the 'Meru' nickname, then.

i am an aunt, and when my neice first started talking, she couldnt call me by my first name, she started calling me auntlala, and it stuck..she is 8 years old now, and still calls me that.lol

At a forum I posted on, there were two incredibly obnoxious trolls, one named "Irish_Pride" and one named "Che_Guevara". So I combined the two as a humorous sock puppet on those forums. I actually kinda liked the name, so I decided to give it a whirl as a serious username.
I'm not Irish and I don't have anything to do with the real life Che Guevara.
