  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Where to begin.

I love HaShem, I love his Torah, I love his ways. I have a deep desire to do what I believe to be pleasing in His eyes. I want to obey His commandments because to me it is a blessing to do so. I love reading the Old Testament. I rarely read the new. I truly want to follow His ways, because He knows what is best for me. I have this deep desire to follow His teaching, to be the person He intended me to be. To raise my family according to His will and His ways. I know many will be offended but Yeshua is neither here nor there to me. Yeshua is the Messiah, He is God's son, I appreciate and respect greatly what he did for all of us, but I believe He came for two reasons. One is to become the sacrifice for all of our sins, but of equal importance in my eyes was to be an example to us as to how to live our lives in accordance with HaShem's word. To follow the Law the way it was always intended to be followed. Why then is it, that every where I turn, I am being told by Christians that I am legalistic, by atheists that I am wierd, and by Jews that I am being disrespectful? Why can't anyone see that my heart's desire is to be pleasing in the eyes of HaShem? I love the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I love the G-d who sent His word down through Moses. I believe that His word is truth and that obedience to His word is a true blessing. So, why now do I feel as if I am wrong for wanting to do this? I do not do this out of a desire to be counted with Israel, I do not do this to convert Jews into Christianity, I do not do this because I think it is a neat thing to do, I don't do this to become Jewish. I do this because I believe that this is how HaShem would have me live my life. Am I wrong for feeling this way? Is there a reason that I shouldn't want to live my life according to the perfect Law? Someone explain this to me please?

Hey, did I post this? Because I feel the exact same way!!!!! No, you should not feel wrong for being a messianic, not at all. HaShem has guided you to it so you can spread the word and raise your children in this lifestyle. I am feeling what you are feeling. You see Christians and Jews see this big wall between the two faiths, and me an you are right in the middle. Part Christian part Jew, LOL. If you ever need to vent, you come to these boards and someboady will help you out. Shalom, and if you need to talk just IM any of us.

We, who have chosen this path, will find that we will continually have our motive misunderstood. From the carnal mind expect no less. Accept that misunderstanding is the norm and go about living as HaShem has commanded you inspite of it. Remain focused on the Who and why of your living and pay little attention {other than the debt of love due them} to those who claim you are legalistic, wierd or dierespectful. Use their charges to run a "systems check" on your walk and motives from time to time, but don't let their charges be the lighthouses by which you determine your course!! The entire word of HaShem is your lighthouse, and those teachers of truth He has set in your life ;)
