1 Peter 5:7

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Cast worry to Lord on what anxiety?
Sickness?
Financial?
Farm?
Debt?
Weather worry?
Has anyone successfully these verse God word work on them?
The context is:
In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because:

“God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.”

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

1 Pt 5

The context is humbling ourselves, not to be proud. So the anxiety in this context would be the anxiety of not being appreciated or noticed by others.

From Sermon on the Mount:

Matthew 6:25 (NIV) “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Peter was writing to Jewish believers in what is now Western Turkey. They might be considered as sort of refugees as Jewish believers were not welcome in Israel.

Chapter five verse seven is one of a series of admonitions that Peter gives his readers because of the difficult circumstances they are facing and will soon face.

I do not think one can take verse five out of context and use it to support a sort of carefree whimsical approach to life. Rather it is natural for refugees to worry about their future. It would be expected that Jewish believers after years and years of the kingdom not being restored and Jesus return would become discouraged.

What we can take from Peter's exhortations is that it does not matter the circumstance or our expectations, God is in complete control. We may face difficulties, but we should not be fearful. There is a secular saying that might be applicable here; "Do not take counsel of your fears".

It means exactly what He said. Faith for with out faith we can never please Him. Its His armor, His Joy, His peace, His strength so forth so on. Do we see? To blindly have faith aka trust Him who is always AMP" And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.?

This is what He wants. Cast all our care on Him. See He can not help when we try to take care of all this. Start small.. something that will not crush our faith. To cast it on Him.. to KNOW not wonder not guess but KNOW He WILL take care of it. All not some but ALL things are possible to them that believe. Yes this ALWAYS works for God HAS to keep His word. He spoke it.. It will come to pass. Yes and amen

Unlike the pagan gods of ancient times, the One True God cares for His creatures and especially for His children. When they humble themselves under His hand, they are under a hand of love that will "lift them up." More than this, though, God can take on our cares, our anxieties, and does so easily and freely, urging us to trust Him to be the loving, all-powerful God He is no matter what we face in life. We can rest free of worry, then, knowing such a God covers us with His hand and will lift us up whether we encounter sickness, financial loss, tragedy, betrayal or whatever. Peter's words aren't a promise that God will remove from our lives everything that makes us anxious. His words tells us only that our good, great God is with us all in all things, strengthening, comforting and caring for us perfectly.

yes

God interacts with us every day and assign personal angels "guardian angels" to be with us , not only that - but provides the indwelling of the Third Person of the Godhead - God the Holy Spirit who is ominipresent, all wise and all powerful since He is a member of the triune Godhead.

Not just anxiety, but all you are concerned about.

Be humble to know how God cares about us better than we can care about ourselves; so, instead of worrying about ourselves, trust God with everything, and know He will take better care of everything, than we in our caring can.
