Expensive Software!

*sigh* I'm still looking for a graphic card that doesn't cost a heap.
jko gave me a link .... pricegrabber.com. but I couldn't find anything in my price range.

www.pricewatch.com is the best site ever to find the cheapest hardware for computer products out there. very reliable. i have built 4 computers using their site. totally recommend that you try it out. not sure what type of graphics card you are looking for but this site has the cheapest prices on the net.

and with your dilemma for finding a cheap version of photoshop 7 or 8..... this is exactly the reason why so many people pirate these days. programs are too expensive. but i have respect for you in trying to find a copy to buy. in my opinion photoshop is the best program for in-depth photo manipulation.... most people don't need such a powerful program but i would get it anyway cause you never know when you are going to want to get more intracate. and there are tons and tons of cool plugins for photoshop as well. anyway...goodluck.

Sorry about the empty reply to : doofus125 yesturday. Just got the computer back from maintenance and it didn't want to let me type in the message box for some reason. But it did post the quote when I tried to abort the whole reply.

Now, to answer doofus125's question. Yep, I have an hp 3300c scanjet- the Photoshop 3.1 home edition came with it. Though, I am not using that scanner any more, it didn't get along with my new Xp, I still use the Photoshop home edition.

Things having been looking up for me, lately, so I'll soon be able to buy Photoshop 7 or 8. (preferably 7).
