  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

for my dad and I'm really looking forward to it. This Saturday will be his first mass as Eucharistic Minister and I'm going out to be there. This is a big achievement for him. Since he had his stroke he hasn't been comfortable with doing certain things but he feels comfortable enough to do this. This is going to be a big step for him.

Please keep him in your prayers. He's a little nervous. :)

Thanks for the prayers guys, he did wonderful! My parents live in a really small community, mostly retired folks there. The church only has about 400 families if that. And the way the Priest works there, one of the ministers removes the Host from the Tabernacle so my dad did that. He forgot to genuflect before he opened it the first time but other than that he did a great job.

It was really nice to see him up there and the members of the parish were very encouraging. Someone told him he looked extra holy. :D
