CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i've read the manga, but haven't watched the anime yet. I think it's pretty good!

I think it was rated at least 17+, the same as Excel Saga, but I'm not completely sure. The manga of Excel Saga is great, and so are the five episodes I've seen of Excel Saga, overall I love it. Doesn't Puni Puni Poemy have Nabashein in it as well? I think there was another character that tied in, but I'm not sure who.

Not really. The second episode parodies hentai, but is not actually hentai itself. But then again, if you've been sheltered, or not extremely experienced with anime, you might be in for a culture shock.

I really want to see Excel Saga. It looks really funny. The funniest/craziest anime I've seen so far is Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. If you like Excel Saga, you may want to check it out. Its a 13 episode series available on four DVDs (in the U.S.; all four are available) and two volumes of manga (only the first one is out).
Puni Puni Poemy looks pretty funny as well, and I want to see it, but I don't want to see it before i see Excel Saga.
