Excalibur's Quest Redux

This is the same as the old thread 'cause everyone missed it. Newcomers welcome! It'll be kinda changed, but our main quest is the same.

Cliffs notes: King Arthur went mad and hacked Excalibur to twelve pieces, and scattered the pieces all over the freakin' world. Now a bunch of kids have to go find it because some evil person's trying to get it. And I didn't rewrite the whole beginning because I'm too darn lazy.

Sora yawned, crossing her arms. Well, this bites. She thought sullenly, popping the gummy bubble and sucking it back into her mouth. All she had been doing walking Moo around the park, and now THIS?! Moo was sleeping by her feet, a puddle of drool on the ground. Stupid chinchilla...she thought affectionately. Can't you see we're surrounded by wackos who haven't invented jeans yet? She was right; a bunch of Romans were walking around in their togas, talking and whispering to each other.

Alex started as she looked around. Where in the world am I? And why are those men wearing dresses?! One moment she was playing in the park and the next moment she found herself here. She saw another girl standing nearby and walked over to her. "Do you know where we are?"

((So, this time we're just like... popping up in ancient rome? Oh, and I found out that I edited my character to use him in another rpg, which died, by the way, so now I have to write it all over again! ))

Sora raised an eyebrow. "Not sure, but I'm pretty sure we're in Ancient Something." She frowned. "Hey, aren't you in my school?"

ooc: we'll get our creepy vision of Morgan after everyone puts in their beginning post

Alex was studying her surroundings, and suddenly something clicked in her mind. "Rome!" she exclaimed. "We're in ancient Rome!" She heard Sora's question and she looked over at the girl and shrugged. "Maybe."

Sora shrugged, blowing another blue bubble. "Moo, wake up." Moo obeyed, crawling up her master's arm onto her shoulder. Moo chittered as if to say, 'where the heck are we?'

"So...any idea why we're in ancient Rome?" Alex asked, continuing to look around, and trying to ignore the stares she got from the locals.

"Erm...how's this for an answer: I HAVE NO IDEA."
