Other than a personal bias in favor of the bible, can you point to any other reason why this would be true?
The bible is the word of God, and God does not lie.

Perhaps you didn't read my post. I said:

Thank you.
Based on a satellite photograph during a period of extreme melt in 1973, I find this information highly credible as well, since all credible reports put Noah's Ark somewhere between the 13,000 and 14,000 foot level on Mt. Ararat.Originally posted by GraftMeIn
There's another web site with more detailed information, including site maps, and other findings here...

I think the recurring rectangular pattern in the ice makes a pretty good argument as well, especially since it's the same measurements as the ark itself.

A global flood makes sense and explains many things, including the ice age which followed it.
The world was quite different when Noah and his family stepped off the Ark.
There's an excellent book about Noah's Ark from a technical perspective.

According to the Torah, Noah didn't have to gather all of the animals. The animals came to him.

Why would the ark survive until the present time? Wood generally does not last long in aerobic conditionsit rots. What are the conditions that have preserved the wood? What reasons would God have to miraculously preserve the ark? Are those reasons biblical?
Technically, GraftMeIn, God didnt destroy the world with the floodhe destroyed life on earth. Why is the ark a magic safe haven from God? When would you know that the world is about to be destroyedor when would you know that life on earth was about to be destroyed? Please give me biblical evidence or your interpretation of biblical passages that lead you to this.
Also, where in the Bible do you find evidence for a global ice age as a result of the flood? I look forward to hearing from you all.
