HAHA...I have been to a lot of evolution websites and have researched and thought about a lot. I have been involved in a dozen evolution vs creation debates. So please, don't tell me what I know and don't know.

Okay then:

• Define the "theory of evolution"
• Describe the relationship between thermodynamics and evolution
• Demonstrate that a series of small, phenotypic changes could not accumulate over time into speciation

Lke I said before, im not a expert in evolution.

1All living forms have developed from other species. All are related to one and other.

2All life on earth has the same origin. Meaning, it all came from one living form.

3t is the process where one species evolves into another, with genetic changes.

Thats basicly what it states.

Hovind's deceitful "challenge" requires one to prove that evolution is the only way that life could have come to exist on earth, which would require proving that life could not have appeared by divine act. That, of course, is impossible. That is why the challenge is a fraud.

Evolution is presented in our public school textbooks as a process that:

1. Brought time, space, and matter into existence from nothing.
2. Organized that matter into the galaxies, stars, and at least nine planets around the sun. (This process is often referred to as cosmic evolution.)
3. Created the life that exists on at least one of those planets from nonliving matter (chemical evolution).
4. Caused the living creatures to be capable of and interested in reproducing themselves.
5. Caused that first life form to spontaneously diversify into different forms of living things, such as the plants and animals on the earth today (biological evolution).

They are offering $1 million to the person or organization who proposes a biochemically feasible explanation for the origin of life. Don't believe me? http://www.us.net/life/ Now, as a condition for sharing the information, I make one request, if you manage to do what all of science cannot, and happend to come up with or already have this idea by which life could originate without a transcendental cause, then when you claim the $1 million dollars (payed over 20 years) I get ten percent. What a funny definition of ad hominem you have. Several posters have pointed out that Hovind's challenge is unreasonable, impossible and based on a series of false premises. It requires that any chanllegner prove that God didn't have a hand in creating the universe, WTH?

Yes but I'm tired and lazy. I only read the last three posts and the first one, I barely looked at the actual site. I am rightfully embarresed that I made a generilization about the rejections based on only the last few. But it hardly matters. I think the guy is a nutjob. My point was that more money can be gotten with another org. I do appreciate you pointing out my incorrect generilization, how silly of me. I apologize to all, especially those who refute the unreasonalbility or impossibility of his proposition. I ask you not let it stain your view of me.
