Evolutionists claim a new discovery, that Evolution is stuck.

This is to Evolution proof that things stay the same, without God, but also that staying the same is a bigger lie than previously thought.

One commentator said "I may not live up to other people's standards, but at least I know if they look down on me, I can do the same... you are as stuck as I am!"

It's not clear if God meant for people to be stuck, or whether the lie itself is to blame...!

This is Fake News, with reporter Anon.

There is no conflict between science and Christianity, between evolution and Christianity, between Big Bang and Christianity etc.

This is in a sense, a jokes only corner...

...are you suggesting the agreement between science and Christianity is an even bigger joke?

After a period of adaptive evolution there are bottlenecks while any genetic changes are permanently fixed. There really is no such thing as stasis because most populations, whatever they happen to be, tend to change over time. What triggers evolution exactly is often wide open to speculation but adaptive evolution would be an exception to the rule of things being relatively stable over time. Certain things are modified almost constantly, immune systems being an obvious example.

We think of evolution somehow being opposed to the concept of creation but that's not really the case. Creation happens at the point of origin, while evolution has proceeded naturally from there with God not really needing to change all that much directly. God does intervene but I see very few miracles that effect nature directly. Evolution is part of God's providence, it's just a normal part of the natural order.

Just candidly, could you tell me what is funny about your post?

I get you are saying that routine bottlenecks will mean that Evolution always seems to be evolving more, but as a joke, is that supposed to imply we haven't evolved a capacity to tell what has evolved? Or that the intelligent among us are keeping us from evolving, because they love how evolved they already are?

I really don't know what your getting at, bottlenecks, genetic drift and the founder effect are all associated with adaptive evolution and a reduction of gene flow. Later the population will get normal gene flow and variation going but initially when an adaptive trait is being fixed the gene flow is restricted, temporarily.

Funny. As in funny ha-ha. Look at the funny man who doesn't understand the latest boo-boo by God.

Like what if God was responsible for the founder effect, would that mean Evolution is less imaginative over time, or only ever Elephants that happen to be in the room?

Don't make me report, you for not being funny!

I honestly have no idea what you are talking about, you start mocking me and then threaten to report me? I was describing something associated with adaptive evolution, not really sure where the conversation was going. Evolution happens but it is generally a temporary interruption of normal gene flow. That's not a joke, it's basic biology.

I am pointing out that the OP is a joke.

You are arguing with me that I can't respond to a thread in the comedy section, with the humour with which it was intended?

Well, thankyou Sir - but scripture soundly warns us to take care not to laugh at something that can't laugh at itself (in principle).

Oh wait, I didn't know this was the joke thread, kind of responded to it at random. Guess I didn't get the joke, anyway I will be moving on.

No, no, that is the point! You are supposed to be able to laugh!!

How can we evolve a sense of humour, without being funny?
How can we be funny, and not test others' sense of decorum? What are the boundaries of how funny we can be, Evolutionarily?

I would hazard a guess and say that Evolutionists have a better sense of humour than Creationists - that they are not detached from reality in the hope that their Evolution will be tested; if you could prove that, you would go a long way to establishing what is evolvable and what is not? And from there what is funny? And from there what will change (within the species)?
