I don't think the kinds exist anymore.

The kinds were animals* that were directly created by God, and their job was to birth the individual genera, in a sort of "glorified punctuated equilibrium."

Different syncytins in the env regions of different ERVs in different lineages. Some work, others don't. In some, such as in humans, they promote breast cancer. And why are they accompanied by reverse transcriptase and integrase? These only make sense in terms of the retroviral reproductive cycle.
