3. Empirical evidence is the closest we can get to discovering God's creation

First of all the Bible is not errant, because man turned his will over to the will of God. As Jesus said: "Not my will but they will be done". So your whole arguement is built on a faulty premise. Nice try though, better luck next time.

This is a referance to the false christian church. She is in bed with the world and the Bible calls her a harlot. Also she has given herself over to false teaching and this falling away from the truth is called the apostasy.

The first thing we need to address here is: Why does God allow this delusion? The answer here is really very simple, because people rejected the truth.

2 Thes. 2:9-12
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, [10] and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [11] And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, [12] that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

There is a lot that can be learned from this passage. So feel free to ask questions about it. Bible questions are always welcome. But don't ask creationists to try to explain man's theory of evolution to you, becasue it is a lie and we do not deal in lies, we deal in the truth. So if you want to know anything at all about evolution, ask a evolutionist. Creationists are here to defend creationism, not evolution.

So, the answer as to why God allows this delusion is because there are people who take their pleasure in unrightousness. They do not want to live righteous before God. As a result of this, they reject the truth, and they choose to walk in darkness. God does allow them to be deluded, He does allow them to believe a lie, and He does allow them to walk in darkness.

Still, God does show the way, for those who want to walk in the light and receive the truth. He provides a way for all honest hearted people to seek after Him, and to know how to be free from the lies, deceptions and delusions.

It is the spirit of truth that guides us and leads us into all truth. We are taught by God. We are not presuaded by man's lies and deceptions.

1. How do you know evolution is the delusion, and not creationism? Can you provide supporting evidence? Such evidence would have to either concur with creationsim, or disagree with evolutionism (preferably save biblical evidence for #2). Much of both will be needed to demonstrate the validity of your claim.

2. Can you provide the full context these quotes were found in and/or evidence that the claims you have made are supported by the bible? There are many things in the bible, which, if taken alone, don't have the same meaning.

3. "Even Satan can quote scripture" as sure as you may be, you could still, maybe, possibly, be deceived by satan. Do you deny this? Is it possible for satan to deceive anyone? If satan cannot deceive just anyone, how is it possible to know whether one or another may be deceived by satan or not? If one cannot know whether or not one is deceived by satan, then how must we determine truth from delusion?

That I would like to see. Of course man's theory of evolution has been falsified by science. They have basicly replaced it with a theory of decent, But they still call it evolution.

It is not quite accurate to claim that a theory has been disproven. Rather, each of the component laws that make up the theory must be selectively disproven, each one of them invalidated, before the theory that takes its basis from these laws is declared "invalid" as well.

The largest modification of a theory occured with Einstein and the discovery of modern mechanics. Even then, Classical (Newtonian) Mechanics was not invalidated, only qualified--Modern Mechanics did not vary appreciably from Classical mechanics for low energy states. In fact, most engineers and physicists still use the Classical laws of physics, as the energy states required for appreciable error (+- one billionth of one percent) approach nearly one hundred thousand miles per second.

For a law to be considered as such, it would have to undergo incredibly rigorous testing simply to pass into a sort of preliminary stage. For a theory to be disproven, not only would each of the laws have to be inaccurate, but they would have to be so incredibly invalid that even the basic tenents the laws were founded on had to be thrown away. This would require the selective examination and invalidation of every conclusion made regarding the theory, from the discovery to present day. If evolution, the theory, were disproven in this way it would be running continuously in the headlines for weeks. Evolution is not just "some theory", it is a theory, and it is the most integral component of modern medicine and biology.

Now, as for your statement that evolution has been "replaced by" a theory of descent--I'm not sure what you mean. Evolution is commonly referred to as patterns of descent, or common descent, and it is even sometimes grouped together--"evolution and descent"--but "descent" is usually just a qualifier, and sometimes an alternate moniker.

Finally, if it existed, it wouldn't be "a theory of descent", it would be "the theory of descent". A theory is not some simple concept a scientist can unilaterally think up and publish; if it is a theory--even a relatively new theory--it is guarenteed that nearly every competant scientist in the field that theory deals with will have heard of it before, or even be actively considering its impact on their job. It will have had hundreds of publishings in most of the major scientific magazines, and most likely, all of the magazines that specialize in the theory's field of application. Everyone would have heard of it, and grown sick of it, before it was recognized as "a theory".

The disproval of a theory has not occured since the foundation of modern science. In fact, because those "theories" before the foundation of science are not considered theories at all by today's standards, it is safe even to say that a scientific theory has never been disproved. They are only gently changed, or expanded to fill previously dark regions.

Finally, here is the dictionary definition of "Theory":

1: A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena.

The sixth definition is:

6: An assumption based on limited information or knowledge; a conjecture.

And its prevalent usage is mainly because of people, like you, who abuse and trivialize the word. When you are using it to explain scientific phenomenon, be sure you realize the magnitude of what you say when you refer to a theory.

Do you concede that the Biblical authors described the "Earth" only as the 'flat land above the sea?' That an historic theological study of scripture supports theistic evolution? That "Satan" was based on Zarathustra's mythic opposer? And most importantly, that dogmatic idolatry is the lie, and not the world around you?

Who wrote the holy books of Krsna, Brahma, Mazda, Mithras, Jesus, and Allah?

And by the way, John, EvolveEarth was right. The Bible is rife with errors, but you won't let yourself see that because you have surrendered your reason to willful self-delusion. You have been programmed to reject the truth and embrace the lie without reason and against all reason. That's what faith means.


Reality never requires faith, and honest persons don't want your faith either. Truth is best discovered through scrutiny and doubt than it ever could be through blind, stubborn gullability. In all the universe, the only thing that requires faith is a bad liar.

Bare in mind that sanity is defined as having rationality; the ability to reason, and to be reasoned with. Your brand of faith is rather the opposite of that. But IF you can think rationally enough to accept my challenge, then I will prove the veracity of evolution to you, and you will admit -before this forum and the world at large- that Biblical creationism is simply not at all true, and that you are an evolved ape. And you won't just believe it either. You'll know it, and you'll be able to prove it others who don't want to believe it either. Mere faith can't complete with knowledge, logic and reason.
